Identifying files in the index: each subject (column one) has one or more file codes (column 2) - e.g. active & passive present tense: 4-01G. Column 3 shows what type(s) of files are available under that code: In this case, E4-01G, P4-01G and A4-01G. [Four types of file exist: A= answer, E = explanation, P= practice, R= reference].  The last column shows you the level of the file.

The levels are shown by the following abbreviations – elementary: EL; pre-intermediate: PIN; intermediate: INT; upper-intermediate: UIN; advanced: ADV; proficiency: PRO

Finding the file you want on the site: assemble the code - for example, P4-01Gactive and passive present tense, practice exercise; then type this code into the search box and click on ’search’. Alternatively, click on the link above for the level you want and scroll down the page to find the right file number. Remember that for files ending in W, you must first click on the writing training link, then click on the relevant level link.
