Pre-intermediate students’ poetry: I love the feeling…

The following poems were written by pre-intermediate level students from my class at the University of Sussex summer school, on the theme ‘I love the feeling’

I love feeling.

 

 

 I love feeling of  listening musics.

 Relax…..

 Every morning , in the school bus.

 I am seeing the scene.

 I can forget the busy morning time.

 Various melody flow.

 When I close my eyes, I be in the paradise and feel so warm.

 It is my calm morning time.

when I go to Brighton,

there is a lot for me

I love the sight of Japan.

 

My hometown is Osaka,

so especially I love the sight of Osaka.

 

Osaka-castle is  one of the famous place.

Many foreign people visit there.

 

Tutenkaku is said Tokyo-tower of Osaka.

There has many restaurant of special food of Osaka.

 

I love the taste of Japanese food.

Takoyaki is very delicious.

It is bite size and low-priced.

 

 

Kusi-katsu is very delicious.

It is match beer.

 

Both food’s taste is sauce.

People love the taste of sauce in Osaka.

Sweet   Vanilla

                                                   

I love the feeling of smell of vanilla.

 

When I feel not so good,

 

I cannot stop thinking of sweet vanilla.

 

 

Vanilla ice cream, vanilla perfume.

 

Closing my eyes,

 

I am dreaming, 

 

As if I am in the flower garden of  vanilla.

 

 

I loved the feeling of smell of mint.

 

When I was a child,

 

 I could not thinking of cool mint.

 

 

More noisy, more crazy, more tomboy.

 

Closing my eyes,

 

I am  dreaming,

 

As if I am in the flower garden of vanilla.

 

 

I loved cool guy.

 

But now,

 

I love sweet guy.

SWEET THINGS

 

I love the taste of sweet things as honey .

 

In the morning,  hot spun sugar latte is melted in my mouth.

I`m happy.   

 

 

 

In the afternoon, soft cookies and sweety fruit juice is melted in my mouth.

Once more I`m happy.

 

 

 

In the night, rustlingly chocolate bar is melted in my mouth.

Again I`m so happy.

 

 

 

In the dream, I`m searching for sweet things again…

                                                    Taste & Smell

 

 

I love feeling of  taste  good  and  smells  good.

 

Taste  good…

 

For  example  fish & chips ,  lasagna ,  chige ,  rice,,,,.

 

I  like  foreign  foods & japanese foods.

 

 

Smells  good…

 

Flower smells  is  sweet..

 

Chocolate  smells  is  sweet..

 

 

After a bath  smells  is sweet.,,

I love the feeling of hearing

 

The sound of Waves from the sea

The songs of the birds

 

I love  hearing the bird’s songs in the country.

 

When I open the window,

 

I see some trees  where there are some coloured birds.

They are yellow, orange, black and white,

Big and small.

 

When they see me they start a happy song only for me.

 

They show me their happiness singing,

Their songs are always more wonderful.

I thank them for give me some moments of relax.
