1. The short answer (positive) to ‘Do you like chocolate?’ is ‘Yes, I do’, not ‘Yes, I like.’

2 There are two ways to shorten the negative of the –ing form: He isn’t speaking or he’s not speaking

3 The short answers to ‘Are we making?’ are ‘Yes we are’ / ‘No we’re not’ or ‘No we aren’t.’ etc
