Choose from the three options according to whether the verb needed describes:
1) natural or public future events;
2) decisions taken quickly (=on the spur of the moment) – both ‘will’;
3) things which you can see will occur at any moment;
4) plans and intentions – both ‘going to’;
5) arrangements – ‘am/is/are –ing’
Cross out the two wrong answers in each group in bold type.
Example:
Look, that kite is falling / is going to fall / will fall in a moment!

7. A: ‘This isn’t working, is it, Jack?’
B: ‘It doesn’t look like it, I must say’
A: ‘All right, we’re going to try / we’ll try / we’re trying it the other way round to see if that’s any good.’
8. If Bella trains this hard, I have a feeling she’s going to burn out / she will burn out / she is burning out before she reaches the Olympics.
