Insert a conjunction in the middle of each sentence.
Example:
0. Sheila doesn’t eat hamburgers __________ she is a vegetarian.
Sheila doesn’t eat hamburgers __because________ she is a vegetarian.

Exercise 1.
Now from this list choose one different conjunction for each sentence. [NOTE: ‘while’ means – at the same time that...]

1. Aldo speaks perfect English _________ he lived in England until he was ten.
2. I always clean my teeth at night _________ I go to bed.
3. Billy’s parents promised him a new computer for Christmas _________ they had enough money.
4. It’s illegal now to use a mobile phone _________ you are driving your car.
5. We spent the afternoon on the beach _________ driving all morning to get to the seaside.
6. Cynthia’s missed a lot of school this term, ________ she’s got really behind with her schoolwork.
7. He drives me crazy sometimes, ________ he is my best friend.
8. The lions prefer to drink _________ the river is a little bit wider.
9. I’ll tell you the story of the book _________ I’ve had time to finish it.
